what's going on you guys my name is zach hartley and in this video i'm gonna give you a full walkthrough and tutorial of how to use the newton platform and i'm gonna share with you all the reasons why i personally choose to use it for my cryptocurrency so if you get any value of this video remember to click that like and subscribe button and let's dive right in okay so this is what the newton website looks like you can get to it by going to newton.co and it's really nice because the whole platform is available on a web browser as well as a mobile device and when you sign up with the link in the description down below you're going to get 25 dollars of free money to use for whatever you want you can buy bitcoin buy ethereum whatever you want to do you have to deposit 100 to get started and newton will give you twenty five dollars then once you're into the platform you can create your own referral link and you can give it out to your friends and they will get twenty five dollars and you will also get twenty five dollars so it's literally the best program out there this is what the website looks like it's really really simple but i'm going to log in right now and i'm going to show you my actual account so you can see what my holdings look like so here is my dashboard this is the main dashboard and the reason that i like newton is because it is a low cost and zero commission platform which means it's really easy to buy and sell cryptocurrencies it's really easy to withdraw and deposit your money from canadian dollars into cryptocurrencies or to get it back vice versa and so that's the main reason that i really like newton and so here is the main dashboard right here you can see i have just over 9000 in in value in my portfolio i have 975 canadian i have over 8 000 in bitcoin and basically as you add different cryptos here it will kind of um create a new block here and show you exactly what you're holding me right now i only have bitcoin and canadian dollars in my portfolio it'll give you a showing of your recent activity so here you can see my referral earnings right here people actually signing up with my referral link and newton just gives me 25 so you have to do it it's well worth the money it's literally free money so you might as well create an account and then here is the market and as you can see bitcoin's up two percent three m's up two percent ripples up almost a percent tara is down over four percent and it kind of gives you a brief sort of overview of some of the big coins i'm going to show you all of the coins here in just one second but what i want to walk you through in this video is how to deposit funds how to buy and sell cryptocurrency and then how to withdraw your funds out either to canadian dollars or to an external wallet or to a another wallet online or another brokerage whatever you want to do i'm going to walk you through everything you need to know right now okay so the first thing that we are going to want to do when you open an account all your numbers will probably be zero here so you are going to want to fund your account and we've got three options on the side here we've got ad funds we've got trade and we've got withdraw funds so it's super super user friendly and if you want to generate your own referral link you just click this little button down here now first thing we're going to do is add funds and as you can see this little window pops up here and you can add funds by an interact e-transfer which is really really nice that's what we're going to do today you can also add funds from another wallet so if you want to transfer money into this account from another cryptocurrency wallet you click on this you either scan the barcode or copy in the address depending on what cryptocurrency you actually want to send or receive here and then you send the cryptocurrency from your other wallet to this wallet and it will arrive pretty pretty much instantly usually it takes at least a couple of seconds maybe a minute but it's usually very very quick or you can deposit with a wire transfer but that takes about three to five business days so for us i'm gonna walk you through the interact e-transfer process we're just gonna request twenty dollars from my bank account what's really nice about this though is that it's completely free it's pretty much the same process as sending a regular interact-e transfer newton doesn't take any fees here and when you transfer cryptocurrency in or out they actually cover five dollars that transaction cost or gas fee which is really really nice so newton is really trying to help us out here and make sure that we keep all of our money and that we don't lose it to fees now once i've got my money set here we want to make sure that the email address is correct and as you can see we can e-transfer up to ten thousand dollars per day for a weekly limit of seventy thousand dollars it does take a little bit of time for the e-transfers but it usually happens within two hours i'm gonna send that funding request we're gonna click on send request here and i'm probably gonna get an email real shortly here that is requesting this money once you accept that email it is going to basically go through the regular interactive transfer process you're going to send that e-transfer and it's going to be deposited directly into your newton account there you will have 20 in canadian will be our example for this one we would have an extra 20 canadian in our account that we can then go buy any cryptocurrency we want with so that is really really nice and that is how you fund your account like i said interactive transfer crypto from another wallet or you can do a wire transfer there's lots of different options there that's kind of how you get started and now once you've got money in your account here what we want to do is talk about how you can actually buy and sell different cryptocurrencies so the easiest way to do this and probably the most efficient way to do this is to click on the plus button right here and it's going to open up this trade menu on the right hand side you can also get to this menu by just clicking on the trade button right here and here you will see all the information you need in order to make a purchase now when i do it i kind of like to buy in canadian dollars so i like to buy 50 or 100 or 200 canadian worth of bitcoin just because it it helps me kind of understand what i'm doing here and so if we want to buy 100 canadian worth of bitcoin we just type in 100 here and it will give us the exact calculation of how much bitcoin we should receive now if we don't want to buy bitcoin and we want to buy ethereum click on that drop down menu here and you can choose ethereum you can choose ripple you can choose dogecoin you could really choose whatever you want and the nice thing about newton is that they have over 60 different coins that you can buy with your canadian dollars and so to get into newton is really easy and then to convert your canadian dollars into any of these cryptocurrencies is also extremely easy i keep scrolling here and they're just they keep adding new coins almost every few weeks here and so i expect this number to go up over time but it's really really a great selection so let's just say that instead of bitcoin we just want to buy ethereum we want to keep it simple for this transaction we want to do a hundred dollars worth of ethereum we want to purchase it and where all we have to do now is click on review trade once we're happy with what we see going on there click on buy ethereum and now it is going to execute that trade you can see it shows success rate here shows us the exchange rate how much we received the time of day and now when we go back to our dashboard and i exit out of this you can see that we have 875 canadian we now have 99 of ethereum and we have over eight thousand dollars of bitcoin still and so that is how you can purchase bitcoin or ethereum or any of the other cryptocurrencies really easily now if you want to get a little bit more in depth and you really want to kind of do some research and make sure that your order executes at the best price possible then you can click on this button right here where you go to all coins and it's going to show you all the different coins that you can take a look at here and if you want to place a large order for bitcoin click on bitcoin here and what's really nice is once you get into this menu here you actually have the ability to create a limit order now a limit order is nice because it gives you a little bit more control over your order and what it does is is it sets the maximum price that you're willing to buy bitcoin at and so if the price is moving pretty dramatically and pretty quickly over time here what you can do is you can say i want to buy 10 000 of bitcoin but i'm not willing to buy it at anything above this price and so it gives you more control over your order and so just to give you an idea of what this looks like we're going to create a limit order and as you can see here if we look at the live price of bitcoin it's 51 256. we've got our current limit set at 51 570. so if we just change this to 300 that's probably going to give us a slightly better execution and now we can enter the amount of bitcoin that we want to buy for us we're going to keep it simple and we're just going to buy a very small amount about 25 dollars worth we're going to click on confirm order here and now what's nice about placing a limit order is that i know what the absolute maximum amount i'm going to pay for that bitcoin is and it's not going to execute my trade if it goes above that and so the advantage here is that if the price is moving really dramatically and you're worried that your order might not execute at the price you want this is a system that you can use to protect yourself and newton offers it with really easy access and it's super user-friendly i just walked you through exactly how to do it okay now let's say that you want to get out of one of your positions and you want to start selling some of your cryptocurrency well the easiest way to do this is to go back to the dashboard by clicking on the logo in the top left hand side now that we're here we're going to click on trade and you're going to choose exactly which cryptocurrency you would like to trade so whether it's bitcoin or whether it's ethereum whichever one you want to choose you're just going to select it here for us let's do bitcoin for this example and this button right here in the middle this is going to swap the trade around so instead of using canadian dollars to buy bitcoin we're actually going to use bitcoin to buy canadian dollars and so we're just going to hit the little swap button right here and now i can sell as much bitcoin as i want into canadian dollars or i can type in however many canadian dollars i want to get out of my bitcoin so for us let's go with 0.0005 again it should be about 25 there we go and so now if i want to sell my bitcoin for canadian dollars i'll click on review trade right here we'll kind of summarize everything for me right here i'll click on sell bitcoin and this is really nice because it's going to execute this trade and it's going to convert that bitcoin back into canadian dollars now if you wanted to sell a large position you could also go through the same process that we used for a limit buy but you could place a limit sell order now for me personally i'm not trading with massive amounts of money so i think this is great because newton already has super high liquidity and very low spreads which makes it very very easy to trade and it allows us to get in and out at great prices already so for most of my trades about 90 of them i don't need to use the limit order because the market executions on newton are already really good all right so now that we've got our portfolio set up here and you've even converted some of your cryptocurrency back into canadian dollars now what we need to think about is how do we withdraw that money off of the platform so that we can make sure that we can access it we can use it for our regular life or we can reinvest it back into our cryptocurrency and the answer to that is by clicking on the withdraw button right here on the right side when you click on this it again is going to give you a couple of different options for how to withdraw your money at the top here you have a interact e transfer in the middle here you have a crypto wallet and this is really simple you actually enter the amount of cryptocurrency that you want to withdraw and they even give you a couple of proportions here so if you want to withdraw 50 of your cryptocurrency or bitcoin for instance you type that in right here you can also choose whichever cryptocurrency you want to withdraw so for us maybe i want to withdraw my ethereum right now all i have to do is paste in the address that i want to send this cryptocurrency to i can also just click this button right here which is really nice it has a youtube link right now so that obviously won't work but what's great about this is that it's really user friendly you just put in that address right here click on review withdraw and confirm it and then it will send that cryptocurrency to whatever address you would like to send it to you can also send it to a bank account but for me i'm going to withdraw some by e-transfer and this is really nice so i'm going to withdraw 100 canadian by e-transfer now remember any of the money in your portfolio has to be held in canadian dollars for you to withdraw it by e-transfer i'm going to withdraw 100 canadian it's going to go to this email address right here and the answer for the security question is going to be right here so npx doc this is going to change each time here and you can just copy and paste this directly into your bank transfer system and it's going to be just like accepting a regular transfer which is absolutely fantastic and again you can withdraw up to ten thousand dollars per day now if you run into any issues
