Hey guys welcome back to our video so today i'm going to show you guys how to buy bitcoin or any cryptocurrency on venmo so on the venmo app as you can see along the bottom you have multiple tabs you have home cards crypto and your profile so go under the crypto sectionAnd right here you can see that you could buy crypto with as little as a dollar so today we're gonna buy some bitcoin on fenmo since i'm choosing to use bitcoin as a demonstration for this video i'm gonna click on bitcoin and as you can see is currentlyIn the red for the past 24 hours and at the bottom you see the option to buy so i'm going to click on buy okay let's confirm some info before you buy you only need to do this once so i've never purchased cryptocurrency on venmo beforeSo i'm going to go through these prompts most likely i'll have to edit this section out because it's going to be asking for personal information okay one of the things it's telling us is just to agree to his terms and conditions i'm going to click on agree okay soNow that i've been verified what it asks you is for your full name date of birth last four digits of your social and then your address this is just so that they could be aware of like you know who's buying cryptocurrency if you're buying like hundreds and thousands of dollarsWorth of crypto they might want to look at you so just keep that in mind all right so now that i've been verified i'm going to click on buy crypto and now i'm going to type in the amount that i would like to purchase so right now i'm buying bitcoin i'm just gonnaBuy one dollars worth of bitcoin and as you can see here i'm gonna be buying one dollars worth of bitcoin however i'm going to be charged uh 1.49 because there seems to be a 49 transaction fee now real quick let's just mess with this a little bit let'sSee what the amount is uh what the transaction fee is if i decide to purchase let's say 20 worth of crypto so 20 worth of crypto i am now paying a transaction fee of 99 cents and then let's go back let's say 50 worth of crypto or bitcoin i'm gonna bePaying 1.99 worth of transaction fees so just keep this in mind as you are purchasing crypto so again i'm just gonna be buying a dollars worth just to show you guys how it's done uh and i could also choose to get alerts when mccoy moves up and down fivePercent within a day but i'm not going to do that i'm just going to be buying one dollars worth of crypto paying 1.49 because of the transaction fee at the very bottom there you see buy bitcoin so i'm going to click on buy bitcoin and i'm choosingUse my venmo balance you could also link you know your bank account but i just so happen to have a little bit of money in my venmo account so i bought one dollars worth of bitcoin okay so now you can see uh the current dollar value of the bitcoin that you ownCurrently my bitcoin is worth uh 99 cents now let's say i want to sell my bitcoin uh right here you see at the bottom i have the option to buy or sell again so i'm just gonna click on sell and then it's gonna need to confirm someTax information with me before i sell i'm just gonna wait on that actually but right there you see buy and sell you're gonna have to type in more personal information if you wanted to sell but that in a nutshell is how you buy bitcoin or cryptocurrency on venmo ifThis video helped you out be sure to hit that like button thank you guys for watching i'll see you guys later
