Exodus Wallet is a popular cryptocurrency wallet that allows users to securely store and manage their digital assets. However, one common issue that users often face is the limitation when it comes to small amounts of certain cryptocurrencies.

Hey guys this is alfredo today I wanted to talk about my top three mobile crypto wallets so before we jump in I do want to discuss the differences between a custodial and a non-custodial wallet I do believe it's important to understand the differences between the two perfect example would be coinbaseCoinbase has a custodial wallet and a non-custodial wallet so I'm going to open up the app store from Apple and search for coinbase you'll see that there's two results one says coinbase the other one says coinbase wallet the app that says coinbase is tied to your coinbaseExchange account and that is a custodial account where coinbase keeps your private keys the coinbase wallet is a non-custodial wallet okay now you're probably asking what's the difference between a custodial wallet and a non-custodial wallet okay a non-custodial wallet also known as a decentralized wallet allows the users to hold their private keysSince you hold the private Keys you are no longer reliant on third parties to secure your funds this reduces the risk of hacks theft or loss to an exchange failure or security breach Studio wallets which are mostly provided by centralized exchanges are third-party service providers hold the private keys on your behalfThis means that when you want to do a transaction they do it on your behalf this means if you want to withdraw your funds you will have to trust the exchange to honor your withdrawal request holding the keys to your assets is a fundamental tenet of the decentralized currency worldOkay guys so what you're looking for is a non-custodial wallet okay so if you've taken a look at my other videos you'll see that I have been using this wallet in many of my other videos in that wallet is Exodus Exodus has a desktop a mobile and a web optionIt has a friendly user UI and I do enjoy the compatibility with the hardware and the treasure wallet where I personally store the bulk of my crypto the home page has a number of features such as top movie cryptos and headlight news to catch up on the news Exodus does supportFor 260 cryptos and nfts I'll put a link to their asset support page in the video description The Exodus wallet does additionally have the options to swap cryptos within the app they provide a combination of decentralized and centralized exchanges now this is where you got to be cautiousExodus is a free wallet and that is because exchanging cryptos within the Exodus app is where they charge their fees so please be cognizant of these fees when performing these type of transactions Exodus does allow you to purchase crypto with Fiat currencies such as US dollarsFrom several sources such as your bank a debit card and Apple pay but again keep an eye out for those fees with those transactions Exodus does allow you to connect to the lightning Network so you can quickly send and receive Bitcoin without network fees The Exodus app is available for both AndroidAnd iOS okay let's move on to my second pick trust wallet now a wallet would be useless if it did not support any cryptos and this is where trust shines it supports more than 4.5 million types of assets so it's more than likely that trust wallet will cover youI'll put a link in the description of their supported Assets in the video description as well now trust does allow you to purchase crypto with fiat currency with credit cards and debit cards just as with Exodus pay attention to the fees when making those types of transactions asThey can be pretty high the user interface is easy to use and very straightforward the trust wallet is available both IOS and Android okay my last pick is the coinbase wallet just to be clear this is not their coinbase exchange app but the coinbase non-custodial wallet that we discussedEarlier The coinbase Exchange app allows you to connect to your exchange account but the coinbase Wallet app allows you to create non-custodial wallets however if you are a coinbase Exchange customer you can link the two accounts together the coinbase wallet does support Bitcoin ethereum Dogecoin and much much moreI'll put a link in the description of their supported Assets in the video description now as with all the other wallets please keep an eye on the fees coinbase does charge swap fees one nice feature about coinbase is that when you create your account you can create a usernameThe username is helpful because you can send and receive crypto using that username with other coinbase accounts that way you don't have to use that long crypto wallet address just ensure that you are spelling the username correctly before sending coinbase is available for both IOS and Android one last recommendation I alluded toThis when I spoke about the Exodus wallet please do not store large amounts of crypto on your mobile wallet a cash wallet that you keep on your person is where you keep some spending money so you can go out and buy dinner or go to the moviesYou would never carry enough cash to buy a house or a car for example your Bank savings account is where you store most of your money to keep it secure this philosophy stands true with your mobile wallet as well I would highly recommend that you store your crypto in the hardware Cold StorageWallet such as a treasure wallet and there you have it my top three picks for the best mobile crypto wallets remember when choosing a wallet it is crucial to prioritize security convenience and specific features that align with your needs so which wallet do you prefer have youUsed any of these wallets that I've mentioned let me know in the comment section below and if you found this video helpful please don't forget to like And subscribe thanks for watching
