hi everyone welcome back to another episode of how to crypto in today's video i'm going to show you how to create a wallet on bitcoin core keep watching the video till the end to learn how and don't forget to subscribe to our channel by hitting that subscribe button also press the notification bell icon so that you'll never miss another upcoming updates from us now let's jump right into the video first make sure you this kind of an download go to the top left hand corner of the screen and click on create wallet name your wallet by typing it in right where it says wallet name for example let me given this name right now and if you want the wallet to be encrypted click on encrypt wallet you can also disable private keys make blank wallet or descriptor wallet according to your choice click on one of these options over here and once you make your selection click on the create button now you'll need to type in a new passphrase or password to secure your wallet repeat the new password or passphrase by typing it again finally click on ok it says that if you encrypt your wallet and lose your passphrase you will lose all of your bitcoins if you're sure you'd like to encrypt your wallet click on yes click on ok go through what it has to say again it says your wallet is about to be encrypted remember that encrypting your wallet cannot fully protect your bitcoin from being stolen by malware infecting a computer click on ok to proceed further and you'll be able to create a new wallet for bitcoin core that is how you can easily create a new wallet for bitcoin core i hope the tutorial was helpful to you if it was go ahead and give us a thumbs up i'll be back soon with more tutorial videos like this thanks for watching
