several key things to keep in mind the first one is that it's very important to understand that there are different types of cryptocurrencies you can create from differentApplications and different blockchains for example you can create a cryptocurrency on ethereum you can create one on polygon solana or binance smart chain now all these different applications are gonna vary in cost and how to set it up and it can get quite complicated that's why we're gonna keepIt simple here so for the purposes of this video we're gonna use the application that's most popular simple and cost efficient setup which is through the binance smart chain a lot of coins like pancake swap thorough chain and a bunch of other altcoins like meme coins you can see online are builtThrough the binance smart chain why because it's very easy to set up and sell now the second thing you need to keep in mind is that oftentimes the name of your token and how you market it becomes very important to success and growth for example maybe you want to usePhrases like elon moon safe or something to your imagination that can captivate a large audience that's how dogecoin shiba inu safe moon all these meme coins gained such a massive audience where many people became millionaires also there's a bunch of different marketing strategies that are common in promotingYour coin firstly is the use of twitter and ads people love it when there's a strong community behind a crypto project another common effective one is the use of influencers on instagram or tick tock to promote your coin now we're not gonna go too specific with this but the pointBeing is that if you're serious about the success of your crypto coin these are some important marketing strategies to keep in mind but with that said let me show you this step-by-step process of how to create a crypto coin it's very simple we're going to use a websiteCalled cointool.app but there's just a couple of technical steps we need to do before all the fun stuff which comes later so the first step is that you need to buy some bnb bnb is the binance token they're going to use to pay the gas fees in creating your cryptocurrency if youDon't know what gas is gas is essentially a transaction fee whenever you do something in a blockchain so what you want to do is buy some bnb you can buy it through any crypto exchange like binance coinbase crypto.com metamask it doesn't matter also you can go to coinmarketcap.com to see all theExchanges that lists bnb i personally use binance to buy bnb because it's the most convenient for me but you can do it from any exchange so step number two once you have your bnb what you want to do is install metamask metamask is a browser extension you're going to use toConnect your wallet to online applications and to download bettermass simply go to metamask.io that's the official website and install it to your browser i'll put all the links down below so once you have metamask it should look like this little fox alternatively you can also download metamask on your phone through the appStore but once you have metamask what you want to do is send your bnb to your metamask wallet so step three how do you do this to do this you simply go to your crypto exchange and in this case it's going to be binance for me and you wantTo send bnb to your metamask address when you open metamask there's going to be an option to copy paste your wallet address and you can send it in there make sure to double check that the address is correct and go ahead and send those funds this process should work theSame way in any crypto exchange and should be fairly simple though what's important to note is that the default metamask makes it that you can't really see your bnb so what you need to do is install the binance smart chain within the metamask and to do this it's veryEasy all you do is add the mainnet you just need to copy paste this information i'll leave a link down below and basically paste it to your meta mask simply copy paste everything you see right now from the network name rpc url chain id and a symbol if you need someHelp in this step there's a really good article i'll leave a link down below that explains the steps in concrete but once you do these first three steps everything else is very simple and it gets fun from here so step number four this is where the fun begins go to theWebsite cointool.app and when you're there what you want to do is click on the top right section where you can see an option to connect your metamask wallet if you want you can also connect to other wallets like trust wallet or coinbase wallet once you've connected your wallet head over to the createToken page as you can see here there's a bunch of options we can make a coin from solana which is new ethereum and many other applications but the one that we're looking for is bsc which stands for binance smart chain if you press on it you're redirected to this page we'reGonna figure out your coin name coin symbol how much supply you want to have decimals all that stuff and you can also have advanced options like coin burning which decreases the supply and many other cool variations so let's try this out together let's say i want to make aToken called sea moon let's make the token symbol cmo and the supply 100 million also check the box for can mint and can burn this is really the part where you need to use your imagination also in the same website you can create a token pre-sale and a token lockerWhich basically locks the supply of the tokens for some liquidity but once you figure out the name of your cryptocurrency and the supply all that all you have to do now is press create token and it's that simple if you check out the website there's also an nftMaker which is quite cool if you try to go and press on that page it leads us to different options like ethereum for example which is most popularly used in openc so all you need to do is put a picture and then fill in remaining details then you can mint it from theWebsite but that is how you can make your own cryptocoin or nfts now if you want to sell your cryptocurrency you can list it on pancake swap and it's going to be easier because we meet the cryptocurrency through binance smart chain but basically you want to go toPancake swap and paste the address of your cryptocurrency then you'll be able to sell it and trade it to other people now step five is to create a website in my opinion this is quite important especially for the marketing aspect so you can show what your vision is or yourRoadmap for cryptocurrency in terms of the design of the website you can pick based on your coins theme and it's going to be important to put the websites where you can buy your cryptocurrency if you want to look for some inspiration on designs i would highly recommend going on coinmarket.com and looking throughThe website of coins it's usually linked when you press a cryptocurrency as i said in the beginning the one i highly recommend is called openc.io at the time of this recording in 2022 open c is the most popular nft exchange that the majority of people use in creating and selling nfts and in my opinion it's also one of the easiest marketplaces to configure itSo openc.io should look like this and i'll leave a link down in the description and yes openc is also the place where a lot of people buy all these hype nfcs like board apes and crypto punks now step number two there are a couple of key things that you needTo know when getting started the first thing to be aware of is that a lot of these websites like openc for example they endorse that everything is going to be free and there's nothing to worry about but in reality it's not that simple in the nft world you should knowThat there's something called crypto gas and yes you're going to hear a lot of people talking about crypto gas a lot especially when you get into the space so essentially what crypto gas is in simple terms you can think of it somewhat like a transaction fee so whenYou list your nft on ethereum for example you need to pay gas so that your nft and crypto wallet can be connected on the blockchain and this is usually a one-time fee that ranges between 50 to 300 from my experience but once you pay that one-time fee you should be ableTo list as many nfts as you want now the second thing you need to be aware of is that usually services like openc will charge you 2.5 every time you sell your nft to someone else but something you need to know as well is that you can set royalties up to 10Which means that if you want to make money when other people sell your nft you can get that 10 percent so therefore the artist keeps getting paid in passive income which in my opinion is a great thing but with that in mind let me showYou the step by step on how you can start listing your nft and in reality it's really not that hard so step three is that you need to create a crypto wallet and a crypto wallet is essentially where you can hold your crypto assets like ethereum for exampleAnd this is where your profits are going to be stored when you sell your nft so there are actually a couple of crypto wallets that you can use some options being the coinbase wallet trustwalt portus and fortmatic but the one i recommend is called metamask which isThe most popular crypto wallet in openc that i personally use and it's one of the oldest players in the crypto industry as well so how you can create your wallet is simply going to your iphone or your phone and downloading the metamask app in the app store or youCould also just install the extension in your browser so all you need to do is simply create an account there and something you need to know that's important is that when you sign up for your crypto wallet in metamask there's going to be 12 random words which areGoing to be your private keys or secret recovery phrase this is something you'll want to write down in case you forget your password you can write it on a paper or store it in a note but you'll want to keep it somewhere safe where you can access it because in reality if youForget your password and if you don't have your secret recovery phrase those 12 words nobody can help you not even metamask so make sure you keep this stuff in a safe place so just to show you if we go to metamask.io as you can see here you can install metamask inChrome ios or android it should be fairly simple and if you want to put some money in metamask there are also a lot of options to do so within that i myself have already installed metamask and as always i'll leave the links down below in the description so once that'sSet up you can move on to step number four which is connecting your wallet to openc so how you can do this is you need to first create an account on openc in chrome or firefox or pretty much any browser and it's really straightforwardAnd then all you need to do is go to the website and press on profile there you can press on metamask as you can see here there's also other options like coinbase for example but it says that metams is the most popular one and it'll actually redirect you to the metamaskPage when you need to log in and you need to open your crypto wallet essentially now another way you could connect your wallet is by going to the metamask app on your iphone and pressing on the browsers tab there all you need to do is search on openc.io and then youCan connect your wallet there both ways work and you should be set to go so step number five then is designing your nft this is personally my favorite step out of all the steps where you can think about what designs what sort of message you want to send through your nfts ifYou already have some artwork that you created in the past with physical or digital art then you can consider using those pictures but if you want to go on like photoshop and start designing nfts you can also do that some people that i know have also tried going on fiverr orSome like freelance website to hire somebody else to create these pictures of your nft so this step should be where your creativity is used and i highly recommend thinking about the vision of your nft and what sort of audience you're trying to market to now for thePurposes of this video i'm going to use a painting of mine that i personally created which is going to be a bitcoin acrylic abstract painting that's currently sitting at my house but remember guys that nfts are not just limited to pictures right you could also upload a video you could even uploadYour own music into nfcs but generally speaking most people are going to use pictures so regardless of what file you use step number six then is actually uploading that file to open c so how you can do this is quite simple actually all you need to do is go to your accountPage and then press my collections when you press my collections there's gonna be an option that redirects you to the button that says create a collection and when you press that you're going to be asked to upload a logo image your featured image a banner image the nameOf your nft your website if you have one a description and a category to which you're going to put your nft it can be either art collectibles music photography sports trading cards and utility so this uploading process should be quite straightforward and once you doThat what you want to do now is put a creator earnings which are basically royalties that we talked about earlier that you can get every time someone else resells your nft and make sure to paste your wallet address here which you can find on metamask then you can simplyPress on ethereum as the blockchain you're going to use and press create so now that you have your nft listed on the blockchain the final step is to sell your nft as you can see here you can simply press sell on your nft and youCan put either a fixed price or a timed auction so let's say we want to list this nft for 0.1 ethereum which is about 300 and you can actually set the duration to which your nfc is going to be sold for that price but that ladiesAnd gentlemen is pretty much it all you have to do now is press list and there you have it your nft is now in the openc marketplace now obviously something that you need to know is that in the nft space marketing is something hugely critical for you to become successfulThat's why a lot of people go to influencers to market their nfts or they try to curate their nfts to be as unique as possible in chances that it could go viral and that is why when you're trying to design your nft you really need toHave a clear plan on how you want this project to unfold but now that you have the skills to create an nft you can use your imagination to flourish i
