security is the most important aspect of the crypto space in my opinion you see over the last few months we've seen a number of hacks outages and bankruptcies that have led to people losing hundreds of thousands millions of dollars their life savings basically overnight I've experienced this as well I've lost tens of thousands of dollars through some of these outages and hacks and bankruptcies and I want to share with you what I've been doing as of recently to combat this so recently I've been doing a lot of research into Hardware wallets places where I can store my crypto keep it secure and I've focused in on one in particular that I've actually purchased three of recently so I want to share it with you guys it's called tangem wallet it's just like looks like a credit card and you can see right here just looks like a credit card the reason why I have three of them and I'll get into in a minute but it makes it more secure than any other Hardware wallet I have seen so today I want to talk about tangent wallet some of the specific benefits specifically with security that I want to go over first thing is first tangent mall is a multi-currency crypto Hardware wallet designed to manage more than 1 000 different cryptocurrencies and not only this but it also gives you access to D5 nfts and more all from one card some could look at this card and say well why would you have a credit card what happens if someone steals it but this is the most exciting feature about this uh wallet in my opinion is with these cards because if you were to lose your card or someone steals it it doesn't matter your funds are still secure in order to actually access your funds you need to have a card you need to have the app and you need to have the your password so the security is based on the fact that your card is password protected the way it works is the app sends the password to the card to be checked but it doesn't check the password itself it has no binding to the card or the user so if someone found the card yes they can install the app and they can use it only if they enter the correct password but if they don't have the correct password doesn't matter they can't use it and that is something that is so important in my opinion because when you have this card you have multiple layers of security you have your card which connects to the app and you also need to have that password so that is why I really like this because just like if you were to lose it not to worry someone can't steal your crypto and that has a lot to do with the built-in chip in each card which uses the same level of security that passports and driver's license and all of these different very secure aspects and very secure products used so that is why I really like it unless dive a little bit deeper into the main differences between tangent and their competitors first thing is with Tangent it excludes a seed phrase one of the biggest things in the crypto space is saying you need to have a seed phrase that is how you keep your crypto secure but think about it if you have a traditional seed phrase someone takes a picture of it you keep that picture on your phone well someone could easily get that so so I know people say to write down your seed phrase but a lot of people I know simply screenshot it and put it in a Notes application keep it in their photos app but if someone were to have access to that they could access all of your crypto but with Tangent model it doesn't do that you don't need to have a seed phrase you simply have your card and your phone so it's more secure than that the second thing is that the unique advantage of tangent wallet really lies in the absolutely impossibility of extracting private keys from the chip built within this card so when you're looking at the card keys are generated by your cards chip using a Hardware True random number generator and never leave the card making it absolutely impossible to steal your keys no other product in the crypto Market has this like I said it is the same technology used for passports licenses and no other technology in the crypto Market no other product in the crypto Market uses this technology third thing is going to be with it's called eal six plus tangent versus eal5 for competitors tangent crypto wallet right now has the highest level of security like I said this is the level of security that passports use when others competitors simply use a lower level of security and verification in addition to this you can see that they are dust water heat resistance so you don't have to worry about any of that nothing happens if you were dropping in water you're still all good and the chip really does not break it's going to last at least 25 years for actually worrying about is the chip going to break nothing to worry about there now I want to go over some specific details of the platform when you're looking at the platform right now there are a few things I want to point out right now they have over 6 000 plus tokens and over 23 different blockchains you could browse browse all of the assets here before you were to get one it says 2664 currencies but they're always constantly adding removing and doing different things with that you can see they have everything from apecoin to Avalanche to polygon to Dogecoin Solana cardano some of our favorites there in addition to this when you're looking at it you can get access to D5 and nfts which I think is very important and not all crypto wallets crypto Hardware wallets in particular have access to this so that's something that is very important as well next thing I want to go over is with the actual app you can see that this app is available on iOS and on Android available in both of these places they've had thousands of downloads already by on both applications like both um both Apple and Android and the cool thing about this is that there have already been over 500 000 cards produced and sold like tangent is ultimately a manufacturer of white label NFC wallets for other brands and if you've probably seen a similar wall before it was probably made by tangent because they've produced over 500 000. last things I want to go over are going to be with the actual verification because we talked a little bit about how you need to have a card and your phone but when we look at the app it has a couple of cool and interesting features to it you can see right here that the way it works is it easily can integrate with staking coins minting nfts buying and selling crypto really do anything you need in the crypto space you easily can connect pancake swap any of your D apps and that makes it very very simple one of the most important things about crypto in my opinion and you can see right here is that being able to connect you your wallet easily to different d-apps different platforms without a lot of different steps but also making sure it is secure and that is something that I'm able to do with the tangible wall because not only do I have that security aspect where I have multiple cards it is password protected where no one can access it even if they steal my card thing is is that it still can easily connect to different platforms and different d-apps making it very easy for me to actually use my key crypto but also keep it secure so that is all very very important but the main reason why I chose this card over other cards is really because of this multi-part approach where you can have different backups I've seen a lot of different Hardware wallets where they are secure nothing's going to happen but if you are to lose your Hardware wallet you're losing your crypto there's nothing you can do about it so that is something that I really like about tangent in particular is having the multiple backup cards where if you were to lose it which does happen people lose credit cards people lose items all the time if you are to lose a card nothing happens you simply can have your backup card and there's nothing to worry about so when you're going ahead and actually using this I would recommend getting at least two cards I bought three but um that's what exactly how I would go about doing it you're seeing I'm doing that here anyways that's really what's going on with this uh crypto wallet I would definitely recommend you take your crypto office exchanges especially with what we have seen as of recently we've seen too many hacks too many outages too many people losing their life savings and I really don't want that to happen to you guys I've experienced in some losses
