Welcome to Crypto Corner everyone. Today I'm giving you my in-depth review of the Bitbox02 Hardware Wallet. In this review I will delve into the various aspects of the device exploring its design, security features, user experience, and overall performance, to help you determine if this device is a good fit for you. So without wasting any more time with introductions, let's get into it... Welcome back to my channel guys, as you know Crypto Corner is a video podcast where we talk everything crypto-related, to help you navigate safely in the crypto space and enhance your knowledge of the blockchain realm. In the rapidly evolving world of cryptocurrencies, safeguarding your digital assets is of paramount importance. With numerous hardware wallets available in the market, finding the right one can be a daunting task. However, the BitBox02 hardware wallet stands out as an impressive contender that strikes a delicate balance between security and accessibility. The purpose of the BitBox02 and in fact, any hardware wallet for that matter, is to provide a secure way to store your cryptocurrency assets. To be more precise, the purpose is to keep your private keys offline and away from potential hackers or malware. This is important because if your private keys are compromised, you could lose access to your assets. Private keys are what we use to access our data on the blockchain and approve transactions, so your goal and this guy’s goal really, is to protect those and keep them untouchable by outside forces. Proudly made in Switzerland, the BitBox02 is designed by security experts and offers essential security features to keep your assets safe. It takes elements from the two leading hardware wallet brands, Trezor and Ledger, aiming to offer the best of both worlds. It combines elements of open-source transparency and robust physical security to provide users with an exceptional cold storage solution for your crypto holdings. The BitBox02 comes in two editions, both of which share the same hardware but differ in software capabilities. One edition offers support for a wide range of cryptocurrencies, while the other focuses on minimizing the attack surface and exclusively supports Bitcoin. This versatility allows users to choose the edition that best aligns with their specific crypto needs. We’ve seen this before, when I did my review of the Keystone air-gapped wallet - they also have a Bitcoin-only version and a standard, multi-chain version, so this approach is not new to me. I use 9 hardware wallets right now (and the list is growing), and for the most part, I use them to store my Bitcoin. I have a Tangem and 2 OneKey devices, where I store altcoins, but most of the other wallets I use, like SecuX, Keystone, Ledger, Trezor and Ellipal, are for my Bitcoin mainly, so this guy here will also fit in this category. My goal is to spread my Bitcoin into multiple wallets, so I don’t have to keep too many BTC in one place, just in case something unpredictable happens - I don’t want to lose too much, right? But as I said, you can store multiple assets on the BitBox02 device, so let’s explore further. The BitBox02 comes with tamper-evident packaging, ensuring the integrity of the device and protecting against supply chain attacks. It’s important to check the packaging for proper seals before installation. And also, there is this sticker here on the device, that should not have been removed, you know, these are things that show you that the device has not been opened before. Or tampered with, before you received it, so always make sure that you check for all kinds of stickers and that everything is untouched not damaged. Upon unboxing the BitBox02, I was very happy to see a comprehensive set of accessories, including an 8GB microSD card, a USB-C to A adapter, user manual, everything you need to set up the device securely. The device itself has a very sleek and simplistic design, it's also super small it's the size of a USB key. It's actually smaller than Ledger even, and so far the Ledger was the smallest device in my collection, so this one beats it. And the accessories are actually rather cool, there's also some stickers here, if you want to be using these, I usually don't really use stickers because I don't really want, you know, my devices to be screaming - if someone finds a device and they don't really know about crypto too much, they might not really know what the device is. But if I put any of these stickers here, with the symbol of Bitcoin or anything like that, it's quite obvious, right? So I personally wouldn't really be using any of the branded stickers. They do have stickers that are just empty, so if you have more than one device, you might actually want to use these stickers - so that you know which one is what. So this is a handy thing, even though it's not the most important part. The inclusion of a USB-C male connector allows for direct connectivity to most modern computers and mobile phones, simplifying the setup process even further. The micro SD card is a nice touch, since other devices that I have, that need a card for their firmware upgrade did not come with the card included, but I had to use one of my own, and I had a bit of a mess up when I wiped out one of my cards, that I had some important files on. You see, when you’re doing firmware upgrades, you should use a blank card. You should make sure that there’s nothing else on it, so that the device can easily read the upgrade file, so it is recommended that you use a brand new one, Or if not new, then you should format the card, which will wipe out all contents and reset it as new. So, I did that but I didn’t realize that I hadn’t moved some files that I needed to my computer, so I lost them. It was mostly footage I needed for a video, so that video never came to be, but anyway, I digress. What I’m saying is that I love the fact that the device comes with its own microSD card. That’s all. Well security is of utmost importance in a hardware wallet, and the BitBox02 doesn't disappoint. It incorporates various robust security measures to safeguard your digital assets. The device utilizes advanced encryption algorithms and a secure boot process to ensure that private keys are never exposed. One notable feature is the secure verification of transactions, receiving addresses, and other critical data, all presented on the built-in screen, with user confirmation through intuitive gestures like tapping, swiping, and holding. Additionally, the password is entered directly on the device itself, reducing the need for smartphone pairing and minimizing potential vulnerabilities. The company also takes physical tampering seriously by signing the secure chips, further bolstering the device's resistance to unauthorized access. There's an enterprise-grade encryption to protect private keys, passwords, and personal data stored in the wallet. And also, the potential risk of private key leakage is addressed through a covert channel attack known as the nonce manipulation. This attack involves manipulating the nonces used in creating digital signatures, which can lead to the reconstruction of private keys by remote attackers. The BitBox02 mitigates this attack by including a nonce contribution from the host software, such as the BitBoxApp, to prevent manipulation. There's also a dual chip design which is a security concept pioneered by BitBox. This separates the wallet's private keys from the device's main microcontroller. One of the key features of the BitBox02 is the Anti-Klepto protocol, which is designed to protect against the nonce covert channel attack. This protocol is supported by the BitBox02's secure chip and ensures that the private key cannot be leaked through the nonce value. The secure chip and microcontroller communicate through a high-speed interface that is designed to prevent side channel attacks. The secure chip is responsible for generating and storing the private keys, while the microcontroller handles the user interface and communication with the computer software or the mobile app. When setting up the BitBox02, the BitBox App automatically verifies the device's secret attestation key. This helps ensure that the device is genuine before it is used, enhancing security and reliability. Furthermore, the BitBox02 is open-source, which generally makes wallets more secure because the code can be inspected by many security experts. It is an excellent device that excels in terms of user experience and security. Although companies like Ledger and Trezor have had a head start of several years, Shift is well on track to become a leader in the hardware wallet space. The only downside is the lack of third-party integrations in wallets and exchanges so far. Shift Cryptosecurity AG has significantly improved the software experience with the BitBox02, setting a new standard for both the BitBox01 and BitBox02. The touch gestures on the device work flawlessly, providing smooth navigation throughout the interface. The display remains crystal clear, offering visual feedback that perfectly complements the intuitive gestures. The user-friendly interface makes it easy for both newcomers and seasoned crypto enthusiasts to access and manage their digital assets. Also the device is compatible with different operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux. It can also be used on mobile devices albeit only on Android for now. It's not got an iPhone app just yet but possibly it will be added in the future. Now, staying true to my honest review style, as you know too well, here is a quick breakdown on what we can consider to be the Pros and Cons of this device. Among the advantages of the BitBox02 is the user-friendly interface, but to be honest, all wallets these days have that. Most are using mobile or desktop software to navigate through your accounts and I find that all of those are easy to use, intuitive and with good UI, so I don’t place this as a big advantage, but it’s a positive for sure. We can also talk about the design. It's really portable, it looks like a usb stick, so that’s great. I like small devices as they are easier to hide. For me, this is a long term storage, so it will stay well hidden. And security is top notch with reduced attack surface, protection against leaking private keys, enterprise-grade encryption, dual chip architecture, device authenticity checks and open source software, it is excellent in terms of security and this is one of the main factors for any hardware wallet device. There's a back-up with included microSD card - this can be very useful and it’s not something that other devices offer, so that’s a real advantage here. It is reasonably priced too, compared to similar hardware wallets - the device is priced at €139, which is cheaper than Trezor and some of the other top brands out there in the same league. You can buy some of the top cryptocurrencies directly from the app, without having to use a trading platform, which is another advantage. Among the disadvantages of the Bitbox02 is a limited coin support compared to some other hardware wallets. Of course, the list of supported chains is growing, they support 1500 as of right now, but some other wallets support more than 6000, and even more. Also there is no Bluetooth connectivity. Now this is not really a negative - it means better security, but also for day-to-day transactions, I would use a wallet that has more flexibility, so in a way it could be considered a disadvantage if your intention is to use it daily. Also, limited features compared to other hardware wallets like OneKey Touch with its true-colour NFT display. And the fact that it doesn't have an iOS app yet, it’s Android only and desktop as well - for now. Again, this is only a disadvantage for day-to-day usage. For dormant storage, for long term storage I don't care for the mobile app, as I tend to use most of my wallets with my desktop software, with my computer. Only three of my wallets are connected with mobile apps because I use these daily and the rest I use with my laptop. Some durability concerns there are as well, because of the exposed USB-C connector here, but this seems to be a drawback for some users according to feedback, for me it's not really a problem. All in all, many of these so-called 'disadvantages' are quite minor. It's important to note that user-friendliness can be subjective and may vary depending on individual preferences and needs. Some users may prioritize a wider range of supported coins, while others may prioritize ease of use and design. So in conclusion, the BitBox02 hardware wallet is a solid and secure choice for safeguarding your cryptocurrencies. It's elegant, it's compact, it's a great design paired with extensive accessories makes it a convenient and user-friendly option for both beginners and experienced crypto users alike. While companies like Ledger and Trezor have long been synonymous with hardware wallets, Shift Cryptosecurity AG is quickly making a name for itself in the hardware wallet space with the BitBox02. The device excels in both user experience and security, presenting itself as a formidable competitor in the market. The only noticeable drawback lies in the limited third-party integrations with wallets and exchanges. However, with continuous updates and development, this limitation may be addressed in the future. With its focus on security and excellent touch gestures, the BitBox02 is poised to be a top contender among hardware wallets. If you're looking for a reliable and feature-rich hardware wallet without breaking the bank, the BitBox02 is definitely worth considering. [Music] in the world of digital Finance ensuring the security of our interactions with financial apps is Paramount while mobile crypto wallet apps have become popular they often post security risks due to the seed phrases being generated on Internet connected devices but what if I show you how to use this it looks like just a credit card right it's in fact a hardware wallet that offers both security and ease of use this is what tangent wallet is exactly and open source multi-currency multi-chain G5 compatible solution that is revolutionizing the way we store and trade cryptocurrencies and this is my quick review of this wallet after using it for a few weeks already I will give you all the key info about this product so you can make up your mind if it's the right one for you and I will also announce a free giveaway so make sure that you stay until the end of the video let's get started foreign the video podcast where we talk everything blockchain related to enhance your crypto knowledge and help you navigate easily in the crypto space today's episode is dedicated to tangent wallet a review that is probably long overdue since I have already reviewed so many other wallets here on this channel and I've been getting questions about this one in the comments so I took notice and here we are I received this device a few weeks ago actually but I wanted to give it a bit of time so I can have some personal experience with it when I review it I will show you the unboxing as well although there isn't that much to show this wallet is like no other it comes in the shape of a credit card and in the Box you will find three cards that's the bundle I got there's also a version with just two cards either way you have one that you use and the others are simply backup similar to how you would store two or three backups of your seat phrase with other wallets except here you don't have to bother with seed braces that's not necessary because there aren't any confused don't be tangent made things extra simple by not generating a seed phrase it stores all the data in the security chip it uses instead of making copies of a seat on paper or other materials you actually keep duplicate cards as your backup your private keys are being generated in the chip just in front of you once you activate your wallet and afterwards they start securely in the chip of the card while no one has access to it neither Town gym nor you nor anyone else this is a true self-custodial solution it's impossible to extract the private key from the chip and everything you need to do to sign a transaction is to just tap the card against your phone with the tangent app installed this way you're not in danger of someone else finding your seed phrase and stealing your crypto the backup cards are associated with the same private Keys as the main card and there protected by an access code that you set up in the app by yourself all cards are synced with the same application on your mobile so even if another person finds the cards they can't access them with the app on another device because they wouldn't know your access code to be able to link your cards to their device I'll explain more about this when I show you how to use the device but first let me tell you about other features that make this device stand out so first it is seedless and requires only a smartphone with NFC support and you're ready to go this Innovative approach is not only user friendly but also eliminates the vulnerabilities associated with seed phrases and provides a very secure alternative another one of the standout features of the tangent wallet is its Advanced security chip this is a standalone microcomputer that has been independently certified with the highest standard of security known as eal-6 plus it's even protected against electromagnetic pulse electrostatic discharge and x-rays in compliance with industry standards this level of protection is compatible to that of NASA and the U.S Air Force additionally the wallet is designed to withstand extreme conditions including dust water freezing temperatures and hot environments as well don't be fooled by its simple design and appearance with Tangent wallet you can have peace of mind knowing that your crypto assets are well protected in in a really Compact and lightweight card which is why it's become such a great product and it is indeed in the top ranking for code wallets now so far this is the only Hardware wallet with the highest possible protection rate against environmental conditions it's durable enough to perform from -25 degrees Celsius this is -13 Fahrenheit for my American viewers to 50 degrees Celsius or 122 degrees Fahrenheit it is entirely safe from dust water and hacking attempts of course you can even drop it in snow without repercussions the cars have more than 25 years warranty which means that both the device and the chip are very resistant and long-lasting and let's not forget the backup system since we don't have to deal with seed phrases tangent allows users to create backup copies of their wallets using the additional cards I would recommend getting the two backup cards meaning the three cards bundle these can be stored in different geographical locations providing an extra layer of security and redundancy it in the event of loss or theft you will just start using one of the backup cards a stranger will not be able to sync the card to their own phone up so you don't have to worry about that now about the app that's available for both IOS and Android devices and it's easily one of the most user-friendly that I've used very simple and minimalist UI which I really like more importantly the source code of the app is open and available on GitHub allowing users to verify its integrity and ensuring that there are no back doors built into the wallet this transparency is crucial in the crypto space where trust and security are of utmost importance the app works with Biometrics so that makes it even easier and more secure for you it's got a clean interface you can see the wallets for various blockchains and as you scroll down you will find the add more button where you can get to the list of all supported blockchains so you can choose which ones you want to activate or hide you don't need to scroll through all of these you can use the search button instead to save time in regards to unboxing there's really not that much to say this is what you get it's literally just this slim box here the three cards are in there and a small leaflet size instructions no cables no plugs it's Compact and light inconspicuous nobody would know that you're receiving a hardware wallet setting up town gem is a breeze First Step will be to install the app on your phone and then pick the first cards to sync the app will ask you to tap the card on the back of your phone and that's it this should work through your phone case but if you have one of those heavy duty cases that are too thick and sturdy I would suggest that you take the case off for the setting up just to make sure that you don't make it harder for the sink I kept mine on for the most part but at some point I wasn't sure if the one of the cards was reading well so I took it off in the end during the setting up process the card generates a random private key that remains unknown to both tangent and the wallet holder this unique approach ensures that your private keys are never exposed making it virtually impossible for anyone to steal your fans or trick you into giving away sensitive information after you set up your main card you will repeat the process with the backup cards the app will navigate you through the process and it will require you to tap the cards in order according to their numbers so pay attention to the number of the cards that the app is asking you to tap I wasn't aware of their unique numbers so I tapped one of the three cards by random first maybe that's how I determined that it was my main one then the other two became the backups in terms of usability tangent wallet excels the user-friendly interface of the app makes it suitable for beginners while its integration with one inch exchange allows for seamless outcome trading directly within the app you will see the swap option in the app the wallet supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies including ethereum Bitcoin and various esc-20 tokens you can manage your crypto portfolio Land by Borough and steak funds all from the convenience of your smartphone I will post another video soon where I will show you how to use the app right now I'm just going through all the features and things that you should know when making a choice for your code storage and of course pricing is another key consideration for many crypto users with this wallet you have a very affordable solution compared to other Hardware Wallets on the market sanjim is actually really competitively priced it's under 60 dollars making it an eliminates the need for wires battery so even APC all you require is a card and a smartphone with the tangent app tangent Hardware crypto wallets possess the Market's highest level of security certification this is the common criteria evaluation Assurance level 6 Plus desertification is equivalent to the level attained by electronic passports ensuring top-notch security unlike its competitors the tangent card consists only of plastic and antenna and a chip eliminating uncertified unreliable and potentially vulnerable components the monolithic secure element chip has undergone rigorous security certification guaranteeing enhanced reliability and fewer points of failure these cards are ip68 rated making them resistant to dust water heat and cold the card firmware has undergone thorough auditing by an independent Swiss company kodelski security ensuring the highest standards of security and reliability it also incorporates an intelligent backup mechanism that enables you to link up to three cards to a single wallet this eliminates the need of a seed phrase [Music] also you can use multiple supported cryptocurrencies simultaneously eliminating the need for downloading additional applications onto the card currently tanjam supports more than 24 blockchain networks and more than 6 000 tokens and represents the highest coverage by the number of assets and the card employs an end-to-end attestation mechanism and anti-counts of its technology rendering the need for hologram protected packaging obsolete once the user initiates the cart activation the application automatically verifies that the card is issued by tangent and that has unmodified firmware installed [Music] the card can be protected with an access code that can be restored using the smart backup function and it uses a powerful chip from Samsung enabling it to sign transactions with hundreds and thousands of inputs this feature is particularly important for wallets that are used in mining in contrast some Computing Hardware wallets struggle to handle such transactions and may even be unable to sign them at all this is certainly a unicorn amongst the hardware wallets offering robust security ease of use and affordability its innovative approach to private key storage and advanced security features and user-friendly interface really make this a Top Choice for crypto coders So you're looking for a new code wallet maybe you want to migrate from Ledger in the latest controversy with their firmware upgrade or maybe you're a first time buyer and you just need to know what are the options out there well I got you covered. In this video I will talk about oh The most popular Hardware Wallets on the market currently, most of which I'm personally using, and I will give you a quick guide into the best code while it's for safe keeping of your crypto. So make yourself comfortable and let's get started. In recent years cryptocurrencies have Gained a lot of popularity with Bitcoin leading the way. As more people invest in cryptocurrencies the need for Secure Storage Solutions has become increasingly important. Especially after the events of 2022 - for those of you who are new to crypto I will briefly point out here, that in Late 2022 we witnessed the collapse of one of the biggest crypto exchanges FTX, which caused losses to millions of users amounting to several billion dollars worth of crypto assets that are not likely to ever be recovered. This is not the only problem that crypto users have faced throughout the Years : hacks are a very common occurrence too. I dedicated a post entirely to the numerous hacks on crypto exchanges on my blog: hot wallets and DeFi platforms as well. Over a hundred examples of very large scale theft of crypto assets and even this is not all. Custodial wallets such as Exchanges are also target of government oversight and some of them like Coinbase for instance, have been reported to be freezing users accounts for various reasons (usually anti-money laundering activities...) Since they hold the private keys to your wallets they are basically at liberty to do As they choose. With your own money!!! This is why I dedicate this video to the importance of using cold storage (hardware wallets) for your crypto assets and I will discuss the best cold wallets Currently on the market, many of which as I said, I am using regularly or I have used in the past. Let's start with the key points here: what is a cold wallet? A cold wallet is a type of cryptocurrency wallet that stores your private keys offline. This makes it much more secure than a hot wallet for instance, which is connected to the internet and thus, vulnerable to hacking and theft. A cold wallet doesn't have to be a physical device per Se, it could even be a paper wallet and I did a tutorial on how to create a paper wallet for Bitcoin, by yourself, in an earlier video, which you will find in the description below. But it Is not really for everyone. I personally panic about losing it, so even though I know how to create one I prefer having a physical device and also, you can't really do this for all cryptos that you will be holding, so paper wallets aren't really the most user-friendly option. And when it Comes to storing cryptocurrencies, it's important to take security very seriously. Software wallets like Trust wallet or Metamask, Exodus, Atomic ... they're all good for quick access and some of them are also available on mobile. But a hardware device takes your security a step further and It not only gives you complete control over your private keys but also prevents you from any hacks on your computer or mobile phone, which is where the software wallets show vulnerability. With the hardware wallet device, even if your computer is compromised, you still have to approve any Transaction on the actual device, so you can double- and triple-check everything: the address to which you're sending, the amount that you're sending, and no one can forcefully make the transaction without your device. The one thing to definitely keep offline though, is the Seed phrase that you will create when you first set up your device. Remember this for later - you will know what I mean when you start using these. I also recommend that you backup your seed phrase On metal plates and I'm using these here, these are the SecuX metal plates and I also have the one from OneKey - these metal plates are really resistant to fire, to water damage, to anything, so this is the best way to safeguard your seed phrase. Now let's discuss the top devices on The market and in a few brief words, what I like about them. Starting with Tangem. The Tangem wallet is one that deserves a lot of praise. It is the most affordable and the easiest probably, to use and store your crypto without the risk of being hacked. And the biggest advantage to This one is that there is no seed phrase to worry about. It is arguably the most secure and easy to use cold storage wallet and it is resistant to fire, water, x-rays, electromagnetic pulse, and mechanical damage. The Tangem wallet is basically a set of two or three cards. They Look like bank cards and they fit easily into your wallet or card holder. When you activate the wallet, the chip in the card generates a random private key that is stored on the card and is not exposed to anyone including the Tangem company. These cards are also ip68 rated, so dust, water, Heat and even cold cannot disrupt their functionality. Operating conditions: from -35 to +85 degrees Celsius. The card is used each time you need to make transactions and you don't provide the key to third parties. You can connect up to three cards onto one wallet, so you Will always have a way to use your wallet and if your main card gets damaged or lost, or stolen, then you have the other two as backup. So all of these are actually connected to the same account And you can use them with Apple Pay, Google Pay and even credit cards. Currently they support 24+ blockchains and 6000+ tokens, and represent the highest coverage by a number of assets. Additionally, Tangem has access to hundreds of decentralized services which allow trading on Exchanges, issuing loans, borrowing funds, working with NFTs and much more. It's really a great choice for anyone who wants secure, lightweight, easy to use device. You can order it with a discount with my link in the description below. Alright, moving on to the next one which is the Tresor Model T. This is probably the most popular cold wallet that offers a wide range of features and supports well-over 1,600 cryptocurrencies. It features a touch screen display, biometric authentication, and a user-friendly interface. The device also includes advanced And tokens, not all of these are supported directly by the device. Some of them would actually have a third-party software that you will need to interact with. I have been using my Model T since it was launched but it is a dormant storage for me, meaning that I only keep Bitcoin And Ethereum here and I have not moved them for many years, at least four years and I don't intend on moving them for another four or five years. And that's because it's one of the very few devices That work without a battery. It only works when it's actually connected to my computer, so I don't have to worry about the battery draining over years, and not being able to use the device let's say, after five, or even 10 years. And that's not the case with all of the hardware wallets. Some of them have their internal battery and that is probably one of the few advantages of Trezor. All of the devices that I'm reviewing here and that I'm using are super-secure, so the security is not the advantage here. Being open source is actually very important and not all of the devices Are open source, but Trezor is open source. All right moving on to the next one: Keystone. This is probably is the most secure device I own due to being air-gapped (meaning, there are no connection ports - no USB, no Bluetooth, no WiFi, thus eliminating all risks). It's a newer brand on The market that offers advanced security features such as biometric authentication and Touch-to-Open functionality. It supports a wide range of cryptocurrencies and offers a user-friendly interface. Keystone is also built on the latest Secure Element Technology, providing a high level of protection against hackers, using a unique secure element called the Keystone Enclave. It Features a secure boot process that ensures that only authorized firmware can be loaded onto the device. It also uses hardware-based encryption and decryption to protect the private keys from software-based attacks. All operations are done via QR codes that transmit data between the device And the mobile app used to navigate it. It also has a self-destruct mechanism in case of forced entry (available on the Pro model). What I particularly like about the Keystone Pro is also the fact that it comes with a battery pack - a secondary pack that uses regular AAA batteries, Meaning that even if the original battery dies after a few years, I can still use this one here with AAA batteries and not have to worry about it. This is on top of my list of devices that I use and you can get it with a discount code as well from the link in the description below. Okay moving on to OneKey. This is another new player on the cold wallet market, but it has quickly gained popularity due to its unique features and robust security measures. The OneKey wallets support a Really wide range of cryptocurrencies and feature sleek and modern design. They also have dual-chip architecture, which separates the wallet's private keys and communication functions onto two separate chips, providing an extra layer of security. The "OneKey Touch" includes a biometric authentication And it also offers a user-friendly interface and supports multi-currency accounts making it easy to manage all of your digital assets in one place, if that's what you want to do. The devices can also be connected to a smartphone or computer via USB or Bluetooth, providing additional flexibility for Users. I recently reviewed the OneKey Classic and the OneKey Touch devices which are now my favorite for frequent, day-to-day use. The Classic is super-light and very thin. It's the size of a credit card and very inconspicuous. Price-wise it's definitely one of the best value for money. The "Touch" model is the flagship model and has even more functionality. It's the first true-color display wallet for NFTs, as well as DeFi transactions, token swaps and much more. Right now OneKey supports over 30 different blockchains (all major ones) and thousands of tokens. The full List of supported coins and tokens is constantly updating and you'll find it on their website also you can grab this with a discount code from my link in the description below. All right moving on to SecuX. I own the SecuX V20 - by far the bulkiest device in my collection, But that was the point. While most of my other devices are quite tiny, I wanted one that is large and fits well in my palm for more frequent usage. They offer several hardware wallet models, including the SecuX V20, W20, and W10 and even the Nifty, which is for NFTs. All the SecuX wallets offer advanced security features, such as a secure chip and pin code protection to keep your digital assets safe. They also feature large touchscreen displays - all of them so it makes it much easier to interact and that's why I said for more frequent use. As with all of the Other hardware wallet devices that I feature here, the devices are only needed to sign transactions when you are sending transactions, but you can receive transactions or even check your balances on the apps that you use to interact with these devices and that's for all of them, Not just for the SecuX. The SecuX devices support over a thousand cryptocurrencies right now & tokens. I want to also mention here that this the NFT wallet is called Nifty and it is the first cold wallet entirely dedicated to NFTs. I have a detailed review on that One too so you can watch it if you're looking for Secure Storage for your NFTs specifically. Alright moving on to Ellipal. This is another respected cold wallet that offers a unique design and advanced security features. While it may not be as well-known as some of the other Cold wallets on the market, it is just as good. One of the standout features of Ellipal is its air-gapped technology, which provides a completely offline storage solution for your digital assets. The device also features a large touch screen display, making it easy to use and manage your Cryptocurrencies. And it also has a passphrase option and multi-factor authentication as extra steps of security. It supports 51 blockchains and more than 10,000 tokens as of right now, and this list is also growing. In fact I will be doing a detailed review on this one very soon as I'm Waiting for my device to arrive any day now. So watch out for this one. I will add it to the list of reviews in the description when it's ready. SafePal is another very respected code wallet that I still don't have but that will change soon as I plan to add it to my collection as well. Safepal is a hardware wallet manufacturer that offers the Safepal S1 and S1 Pro models. I do not own Any of them, so I have no personal experience to share, but some of my friends use them. Like most other devices I listed here, Safepal wallets use a combination of hardware and software security features to protect private keys from unauthorized access or tampering. The devices feature a Tamper-evident, drop-resistant case and a secure boot process that ensures that only authorized firmware can be loaded onto the device. The wallets use a secure element (SE) microcontroller to store private keys, which provides a high level of protection against physical and software-based Attacks. SafePal S1 is compatible with over 10,000 cryptocurrencies as of right now and you can see the full list of course on their website - the link is also in the description below. Moving on to BeatBox02 - this is a hardware wallet that is made in Switzerland and is Designed to be really simple and really easy to use. It's also open-source, which is always an advantage. It's very compact - the size of a USB stick and currently provides support for 20 different blockchains and over 1500 ERC20 tokens. The full list of supported coins is On their website. I don't really have personal experience with this one so I can't really tell you much more than that, but from users I see that it has very good reviews. And now moving on to Ledger Nano X. Now before I talk about The Ledger Nano X, which is a very secure device, I want to mention that recently there was a big controversy with the latest upgrade that they released which is introducing a new feature which is going to provide a backup for your seed phrase, meaning That people (users) will be able to restore their seed phrase in case they lose it further down the line. Now this is an optional service and it will be a paid service at $10 dollars per month, But the problem with that service, even though I really like the fact that they are thinking about, you know, protection of your seed phrase, many people lose their seed phrases and once you do that, you might not be able to access your accounts anymore. So while it's important to Protect your seed phrase I would say You have to protect it best, and this is why I was talking about the metal plates that I'm using. This is really the best, you know, storage for your seed phrase. But if you are worried about losing your seed phrase then you might want to opt-in For this feature here with The Ledger Nano X. Unfortunately I'm not really happy and many other people are not happy about this feature, because it means that your seed phrase could be extracted from your wallet. Of course, it will be with your permission, but the fact that there is an option To do that, even if it's with your permission... I'm not really sure what is to stop them doing that without your permission, you know. The fact that it's a possibility is already bad enough so I'm not really gonna risk it. Also another thing is that the older model which is the Nano S, The Ledger Nano S, this one, doesn't really have this upgrade, so for the time being, if you don't really want to be using the Nano X, if you're worried about this, you can actually start using the Nano S, which is the older device. Both of the devices are super compact, they are The smallest devices on the market, making them a little bit easier to lose though. On the other hand, they're very easy to travel with, because they're so compact. Also another thing is, that I own both Nano X and Nano S, so I can compare them. The Nano X of course is more advanced. It has Bluetooth connectivity, so it is a little bit better than Nano S in that regard, and also you can fit more apps on this device. Now, unlike other devices that I showed you previously, here you actually have to install applications for each blockchain on the actual device. So let's say, you You want to store Bitcoin and Ethereum, and maybe Binance coin, or Litecoin. These are all different blockchains, so for each of these you will have to install the application, the relevant application on the device, and then you have the application on your mobile phone or on your computer, With which you are navigating the device. The Nano X can actually fit a little more applications than the Nano S but both devices have limitation as to how many applications you can upload here, so If you're going to be holding 20 or 30 different coins and of course some of this might be tokens, so if you're holding Ethereum tokens, then you only need the Ethereum application, but then, if you have tokens on Binance chain, tokens on Polygon and other blockchains, Then you will need these applications as well, on the device. And sooner or later you might run out of space on the device, so this is the one of the problems with these devices. They do support more than 1000 cryptocurrencies, so they they do have a support for a wide range of cryptocurrencies, But you don't really / you can't really fit all of them at the same time on the device. But then again, Ledger is the most popular device on the market. It's one of the early devices, it was probably the second one that was launched. I think Trezor was first, KeepKey was second... KeepKey by the way is no longer in production, so I'm not recommending KeepKey. I actually stopped using KeepKey and I replaced it with OneKey. Even though it sounds similar OneKey is a completely different company. I did a detailed review on both OneKey Touch and OneKey Classic. You will find the Reviews in the description below and you will find all of my reviews in the description below check them out. But one of the main reasons why Ledger is the most popular device on the market, is the Fact that they started really early on, and they added support for many tokens and coins early on, before KeepKey, before Trezor, so of course people started using these devices more than the Trezor and KeepKey because they were a little late in adding more functionality and more tokens. Also, Ledger is very good for DeFi transactions even though, not the most user-friendly for DeFi. I would say OneKey Touch and OneKey Classic are much more user friendly when it comes to DeFi transactions. Even Keystone. Anyways, if you don't want to be using the Ledger Nano X because of that Firmware upgrade, then you can use the Ledger Nano S which is the older device. And very soon I will be having a giveaway with the Ledger Nano S, so make sure that you're subscribed. It will be a giveaway to my subscribers and you will have to be leaving comments on my videos, So be prepared to start leaving comments already. And another giveaway that I will be having very soon is Tangem. I will be doing a giveaway on Tangem as well, I just received my wallet and I really like it so I reached out to them and I told them that I will be doing a review and I want to have a giveaway, so they agreed. So I will be having a giveaway on Ledger Nano S not X, (the older device that is the one that doesn't have the controversial upgrade) and I will be doing a giveaway on Tangem as well.
