Introducing the Latest Cold Storage Wallet from Ledger: The Ledger Stax
Introducing Ledger’s New Cold Storage Wallet: Stacks
In December, Ledger released a brand new Cold Storage wallet called Stacks. Designed by iPhone co-creator Tony Fidel, this wallet promises to revolutionize the way we store cryptocurrencies. In this article, we will take a closer look at Stacks and determine if it truly makes the process of storing cryptos any easier.
A Sleek and User-Friendly Design
One of the first things that catches your eye about Stacks is its sleek and modern design. Unlike the traditional USB sticks we are used to, Stacks resembles an Amazon Kindle with its black and white touchscreen display. This not only enhances the device’s aesthetics but also extends its battery life. The touchscreen display makes orchestrating transactions a breeze, eliminating the need for tiny buttons found on older devices.
Convenience and Versatility
Stacks is not just visually appealing; it also offers convenience and versatility. Shaped like a credit card, it easily fits into your wallet or pocket, making it highly portable. Additionally, the magnets in the body of the device allow you to stack multiple Stacks together. While some may question the need for multiple devices, this feature can be useful for those who manage multiple cryptocurrencies or want to keep their assets separate.
Enhanced Security Features
When it comes to storing cryptocurrencies, security is of utmost importance. Stacks understands this and incorporates several advanced security features. It utilizes Ledger’s trusted security infrastructure, ensuring that your private keys remain secure. Additionally, Stacks supports multiple cryptocurrencies, providing a comprehensive solution for crypto enthusiasts.

Has anyone here been logged out of their social or financial accounts? I can help you recover locked Gmail, Email, Cold wallet, Multisig, Trust Wallet , and social accounts. Don't worry Hannah Pearson is doing all simple havks for free. Only condition is you have to leave a recommendation after your successful job
People do keep multiple cold wallets from what I’ve heard
Multiple wallets aren't a bad idea. It makes access easier. Plus, having a fresh unopened one makes loading up seed words easy from memory.
I dont like hardware wallets with batteries. Batteries are junk after a few years and unless theyre disposable, you need to buy a new device. Trezor is the best for long term self sustainability
I was interested in leger items until I read about their data breach and that their stuff isn’t open source which suggests they’re not fully confident in their security. Am I wrong to be wary? I’m kind of leaning towards Trezor. Anyone know a great wallet interface/hot wallet to use with Trezor or any other cold wallet/hot wallet combo? A pretty confusing space.
By the way why you’d need to ‘stax’ loads together is beyond me. Maybe if you were trying to hide your assets and only wanted £50k of btc on each one? At that rate I’d need 100 of em (lol. As if 🙂 )
Aren’t we installing layers of smart contracts attached to immutable data and tracking of human behavior on blockchain? Will compliance with accessing government benefits on blockchain be tied to my behavior??
The USB sticx were fine they FUCKED up. I really don't want to get rid of my ledger.
I still dont understand the cold storage software and how it works – are they user friendly? For some reason I imagine it like programming language. I am in the process of transfering my crypto off an exchange and I am terrified.
you can have it.
yeah I'm not concerned about "Easier" especially with a shady company like Ledger lol… the "easiest" method is to just write it on a paper where anyone can find it! da doyyy!!!
Wow😊
There is a trend to ruin security…
Wear a ledger around ur neck and go to the hood…
Stack multiple over each other so government or anyone else gets all of them at once
Ledger is dead and people have been loose the trust in them after the last update of recover seeds
Ledger DID NOT released Stax yet!!!
But it Has Limited storage for Apps!
Ledger stax
Just released it did they?
I bet if they changed it to dark mode it would save the battery even more and be easier to look at on your eyes
They did not "release" it, they "unveiled" or "announced" it. It's still not released yet.
Screw easy I want secure
