Aliagents is creating a powerful AI ecosystem, I’m excited to see how this develops
I remember Tay. Of all places, Microsoft chose to put that on Twitter. I wonder what they thought was going to happen.
So u literally have to explain the problem to AI like it was a 5th grader . Marvelous
That opening got me laughing. Cause i had a friend come out mid conversation, and just kept on… He asked "did you hear what i said?" Yeah and…. You do you dude, i don't judge. And its that easy.
This episode was a year ago and is very much mostly irrelevant since all the advancements. Some of the bigger threats are still real, like voice cloning, and frauds ,and plagiarism but so much has improved over the last year, especially the hallucinations. Just look how far GPT4O AND GEMINI have come.
I often use chatgpt as a brainstorming tool. It's kind of creepy when discussing humans it uses the first person plural, we.
Wow watching this a year later and we almost on the verge of AGI lol
11:55 the predicition of protein structures just won this years chemistry nobel prize
Tried to watch Nothing, Forever and geez if there's a good proof of why we shouldn't be using AI. It's funny in a ridiculous absurd way but woo boy. In the ~10 minutes I watched they had two different conversations about wind and umbrellas, dissing someone's fashion, and aliens plus a third conversation about pickle milkshakes and selling pickle incense at a movie theater for some reason
…people should stop calling this "a.i." say what it actually is:
mechine learning.
tech bros hype it up as something smarter, but it really, really isn't.
and likely an insult to whatever actual, true a.i. we'll invent in the future.
Für Fortnite
I quit smoking years ago, but as a teen in the '90s, a lot of us sat around smoking cloves. There was a restaurant called Sandino's with black walls, and a bandito skeleton painted on the wall. They played gothic rock, and punk. Nobody ordered food though. Just coffee and tea. I didn't even know it was a restaurant. It just seemed like a club where underage gotta and punks could smoke. Our presence and lack of interest in food put them out of business. 😢
BTW this dates back to Greek Mythology, the fight between Zeus and Prometheus about whether to give man fire (creativity)
8:14 oh boy which one do you think bought nestle
26:00 Nope John.. "regulation" and laws wont' do ^^… see how they don't right now..! It's simple math: politics, law making is sloooooooow…. tech is fast, more than fast it's quickfuckporn level; meaning, it doesn't matter how good and quick laws will be since they ALWAYS will be 5y behind!!! NO, what we need is to FORBID AI in ANY decision making for OUR fuckn lives! i said ANY. Do we throw a drug on the market right after they find a magic molecule, do we? NO! it's DANGEROUS. So why on earth do we let those tech hysterics dudes do whatever they want!?? TECH is basically ANTI SCIENCE, it's science evil twin, the one that actually wants to kill his brother s he can be and rule alone.. that's what it is.. and it NEEDS to be STOPPED…NOW.
there s only but ONE "grand remplacement", it's the #TechnoGrandRemplacement ! and no one is reacting accordingly!? HOW!?
"am gae"
The reason why Ai has trouble determining darker skin people is because the cameras pick up less data because they're dark.
Let me put it in a simple way.
I took a selfie with my friend at the movies… The Camera could see my face clearly because I am very pale, so even under little light, it could pick up my features… where as my friend was not picked up because in the dark he is invisible…Except when he smiles.
Large parts of Deep Learning is literally just letting your computer calculate a bunch of probabilities based on logistical regressions and other mathematical functions. It's crazy what type of stuff you can do with statistics, but calling it "intelligent" is a stretch.
Holy shit Fortnite mentioned
Bush did 9/11 tho.
Honestly, Chat GPT has better search results than a search engine because anytime I use a search engine, I don't get what I asked for. Not even in the ballpark.
Only a back-propagating (self-learning) neural net does not require human input. Traditional programming, expert systems and feed-forward neural nets all require human input or training. In general, however, a back-propagating neural net is much less useful than a reasonably intelligent human, not least because it has no a priori profit motive.
