Top-rated Crypto Hardware Wallet for 2023
The Best Crypto Hardware Wallets: A Comprehensive Comparison
When it comes to storing your valuable cryptocurrencies, security is of utmost importance. With the recent concerns surrounding Ledger, the world’s most famous crypto wallet company, many users are reevaluating their storage options. In this article, we will compare four different crypto hardware wallets, ranging from cheap to expensive, to determine which one comes out on top. Please note that the information provided here should not be taken as financial advice, and the decision of where to store your crypto ultimately rests with you.
Introducing the Wallets
Let’s begin by introducing the four crypto hardware wallets we will be comparing: Tangem, Onekey Classic, Onekey Touch, and Secux v20.
Tangem Wallet
The Tangem wallet stands out in several ways. It boasts the highest security standard, making it one of the most secure crypto hardware wallets on the market. Additionally, it is the cheapest option among the wallets we are comparing. Unlike other wallets that use a seed phrase, Tangem utilizes multiple backup cards. Even if you lose one card, as long as you have a backup, you can still access your crypto. The Tangem wallet supports 12+ network chains and thousands of crypto tokens, making it incredibly versatile. Setting up and using the Tangem wallet is also remarkably easy, making it a user-friendly option.
Onekey Classic and Onekey Touch
The Onekey Classic and Onekey Touch wallets offer two different options at varying price points. The Onekey Classic is priced around $89, while the Onekey Touch is on the more expensive side at around $249. The Onekey Touch features a remarkable NFT display, perfect for showcasing your NFT collection. Both wallets come with the Onekey app, which offers a wide range of functionalities and utility. With support for 43 network chains, in-app swapping and bridging, and customizable settings, the Onekey app provides a comprehensive crypto experience. It is worth noting that Onekey is the only crypto wallet company invested by coinbase, adding to its credibility.
Secux v20 Crypto Wallet
The Secux v20 crypto wallet, priced around $139, offers a unique design and features. It uses a seed phrase for added security and comes with a USB charger and Bluetooth connection to mobile devices. The Secux v20 currently supports the ethereum and Bep-20 smart chain networks, along with some other traditional cryptocurrencies. It also provides access to DeFi applications, similar to the other wallets we have discussed.
Comparing the Wallets
After reviewing the features and functionalities of each wallet, it becomes clear that the Tangem wallet and the Onekey wallets stand out as superior options compared to the Ledger devices. Both Tangem and Onekey offer easier setup, more functions, and support for a wide range of network chains and tokens. The Secux v20, while unique in design, falls short in terms of supported networks and ease of use. The Onekey Touch, on the other hand, caters more to individuals interested in showcasing their NFTs, making it a niche option.
Security
When it comes to security, the Tangem wallet takes the lead. With its highest security standard and durable construction, the Tangem wallet is virtually indestructible. Unlike other wallets with delicate screens and electronics, the Tangem wallet eliminates the risk of damage. Additionally, the Tangem wallet does not rely on seed phrases but instead uses multiple backup cards. Even if someone finds one of your backup cards, they would still need passwords and security steps to access your crypto, making it a safer storage option.
Utility and Functionality
In terms of utility and functionality, the Onekey Classic excels. The Onekey app offers a wide range of features, including support for 43 network chains, in-app swapping and bridging, and customizable settings. The app also provides social features and news updates, making it a comprehensive tool for managing your crypto. No other crypto wallet, whether hardware or online, offers the same level of utility as the Onekey app.
User-Friendliness
When it comes to ease of use, the Tangem wallet takes the crown. With its simplistic user interface, lack of charging requirements, and absence of Bluetooth connectivity, the Tangem wallet offers a hassle-free experience. Setup is quick and straightforward, making it significantly faster and easier compared to Ledger devices and other traditional hardware wallets.
The Winner: Tangem Wallet
After considering the aspects of security, utility, and user-friendliness, the Tangem wallet emerges as the clear winner. Not only does it provide the highest level of security and durability, but it also offers a user-friendly experience and supports a wide range of network chains and tokens. Additionally, the Tangem wallet’s use of multiple backup cards instead of seed phrases adds an extra layer of protection. For those looking for the safest, easiest, and most affordable way to store their crypto, the Tangem wallet is the top choice.

What about Ellipal titan? Please do a review on this one.
How can you verify the addresses if the Tangem wallet doesn’t have a screen?! Pretty fatal to recommend such a wallet.
The thing I like a lot about the Tangem wallet is that you can hide it in smaller places much easier. It's a flat card so you can stick it in tough to find places that you could never do with a ledger or any bulky device!
Thank you for the review
Great timing was looking at the ledger, definitely will now go for the Tangem.
What happens if for some reason the Tangem app stops working or the company behind it goes bankrupt? I think that's quite a security risk..
will you trust in the good function of the nfc ship for long term? because if one day it fail, whats happen?
YOU EITHER DON'T HAVE A CLUE ABOUT SECURITY OR YOUR ARE SCAMMING PEOPLE! NO SEED PHARSE? HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE?
THEY ARE PRE GENERATED ON THE CARD BY THE COMPANY! THAT MEANS THEY EITHER KEPT IT OR BY LOSING YOU BACKUP THERE IS NO WAY TO RECOVER THEM VIA BIP39 ALGORITHM! THAT IS WHY THE WALLET IS CHEAP AND CONVENIENCE IS NOT WHY PEOPLE BUY COLD WALLETS!
I the Trezor wallet in the same bin as Ledger?
I have tangem, which is superb.

Putting well-earned money into the stock market can be over emphasize for first time investors, unlike a bank where interest is sure thing! Hey, regarding the One Key wallet, where could I access my wallet if I lose this wallet but still have my seed phrase? Is it like Ledger that One Key then sends me a new One Key?
And if someone has stolen my One Key he can't access the seed phrase like with Trezor or?
My first time here. Subscribed!
Please give complete tutorials as most of us are new to crypto 🙏
Coolwallet rocks ✌️🏽
One key connects with Bluetooth? My phone doesn't have nfc.. so tangem is out
I can't even transfer my pulse to tangem 🤦🤦🤦
Just ordered the mini one key
The point at 3:50 is very important. If someone finds your seed words (paper, stainless steel, titanium, etc.) they can copy/photograph/take them and steal your crypto. With Tangem, they can download the app but need the access code, and for each failed attempt the delay increases by one second (up to 45 seconds, I've tried it) and can only be reset by the correct password/access code.
same thinks, Tangem is my best and easy use everyday experience. In second choice in everydaay use : Cool Wallet. In and long time vers safe storage, in first Onekey Classic and in second Keystone because less chains ready to use than Onekey and no native apps, Keystone use a third part as Destop or mobile Apps like Rabby or Keplr
As a beginner, is there a good security hardware wallet recommended? How about OneKey Wallet?
