Safeguard Your Crypto with Tangem Hardware Wallet
On the Osho, we prioritize self-custody when it comes to cryptocurrencies. Centralized exchanges may not be the best option for storing your crypto assets securely. That’s why we have partnered with Tangem to introduce their amazing hardware wallet that makes storing your crypto super easy. In this article, we will discuss what Tangem is, how it works, and how to set it up on your mobile device.
What is Tangem?
Tangem is a card-style hardware wallet that works with your mobile device. It features a chip that generates a private key when you create a new wallet. The card only works with your PIN, ensuring that you are the only one who can access your cryptocurrency. The private key never leaves the chip once it’s been activated, making it virtually impossible to steal. Unlike other hardware wallets, Tangem does not rely on a private key or seed phrase that can be compromised. To access your crypto, you need the Tangem card, your PIN, and your phone.
Setting up Tangem Wallet
Setting up the Tangem wallet is a straightforward process. The Tangem wallet includes three sets of cards, and you get to keep one. You can store the other two safely or even leave one with an attorney for added security. The cards are also IP68 rated, which means they are water and dust resistant. You can even bury them in the mud or go swimming with them without worrying about damage.
To set up the Tangem wallet, follow these steps:
1. Download the Tangem app from the iOS Store or Google Play Store.
2. Open the app and select “Scan Card” to begin the setup process.
3. Tap the Tangem card as shown on the screen and hold until the operation is complete.
4. Accept the terms of service and legal disclaimer.
5. Tap the card again to create a wallet.
6. Backup your wallet by adding backup cards.
7. Finalize the backup process by creating an access code and scanning the primary and backup cards.
Once the setup is complete, you can start using the Tangem wallet to store your cryptocurrencies securely.

The only problem with this wallet is costumer service. I order my wallet and I'm still waiting to get my wallet more than 4 weeks went by.
Can someone tell me why they take forever to send the wallet. Tangem customer service is not good.
Hi Wendy! I just tried to order tge Tangem cards and it keeps declining your discount code. Do you know why?
If you lose your phone, did you lose all your cripto ??
Hopefully, in the future hardware wallets will have less technology attached to them.
For example, ledger often has glitches and I’m sure others will encounter the same. Super annoying!
Hi! Between this and Arculus, which one do you take?
If your phone get lost could you recover your assets?
Excellent video. Read the FAQ page at the website after clicking on security to learn more. A lot safer than any of the BIP 39 nonsense of passphrases.
Thank you 🙏 so much 4 your time now I’m happy I order already my cards thank you 🙏 again
You never sent nothing to you I said buy XRP to me it shows on the history, but it does not show on the price about
What happens when you loose or brake your phone on your last holiday trip?
There is a reason that most hardware wallets have a screen and wires to connect and thats due to security. Verifying transactions on your phone is no bueno. Should always be done from a physical device.Just stick to Ledger or Trezor. Trezor is open source. I got mad respect for Wendy, however I dont understand how she is now talking bad about Ledger when Not one human has ever lost their money or been hacked ever once and they have been around for years. But she gets a sponsorship from this "Card" where you verify trransactions on your phone therefore exposing you to vulnerabilities on your phone. So yeah thats where we are in crypto, promote this brand new cold storage wallet because you were paid to and then talk bad about Ledger. Makes no sense to me. This is not a safe wallet and I know that to be fact. Trust me them and Arculus didnt create some groundbreaking technology where you dont need a device at all anymore seperate from your phone. I hope people realize that if this was the most secure way to do it then Ledger, Trezor, Keystone etc. would all do it this way 1000%. Why? Well because it is very expensive to make screens on devices and everything that goes into it. This is the cheapest, easiest way to make a hardware wallet. Arculus is the same thing, notice how Wendy pushed Arculus hard a while ago but actually doeesnt use the Arculus for her own crypto. I guarantee that f she is saying she uses this wallet in the future then she prob just has a hundred bucks on it and will have it there someone because they paid her 50k to make a video about this wallet.
I jus use biometrics to log in to tangeum everytime..I don't even use my cards
Is it available in Australia?
I ordered one 3 pack, on july30. Projected delivery by aug16. Arrived on aug12. Email updates with shipping progress. So far so good!
My question is just what if you lose all 3 cards
If someone has access to your card and phone, do they then just need your PIN to use it? Is there a limit to how many times they could try new PINs? Then what happens?

Hey Wendy, what is the deal with Tangem sending address from China since they are Swiss company? Probably a dumb question. Just received my Tangem cards and says it's from Hong Kong. Just weird. Any enlightenment would be appreciated. Also I used the link through Ivan on Tech so it was a legit link. Any help would be appreciated thanks. Appreciate you 🙂
